- Currently, Nick and I are residing in Riverside, California, which is part of southern California's "Inland Empire." We are about an hour from the mountains, desert, and beach. Even though we are outside of LA quite a bit, we are still in a very urban environment. Although we are miles away from our friends and families, we would like to share our experiences of California living with our friends and family. Check back as often as you like and, hopefully, we will have something new to share with you. Cheers!

Hi Kristi, What a cool blog thing! Looks like you and Nick had a great anniversary celebration. Did you celebrate with a bottle of the non-red wine? :-) It doesn't seem like it's been a year since we were all up in COLD Minnesota, does it!! Mike and I sure enjoy you both being so close to Fresno - we need to come and visit you! Love, Barb
